| another newbie asking how do i get this look? I appreciate this is my first post and apologies for diving straight in and asking for advice...but nothing ventured nothing gained. I'm pretty new to photography particularly retouching but I am after advice on how to achieve these looks. 1) this kind of steely blue look, yet the colours are still vibrant, like this shot http://www.flickr.com/photos/peepboo...n/photostream/ any advice pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated. Thanks Last edited by mistermonday; 04-25-2011 at 01:51 PM. |

| Re: another newbie asking how do i get this look? It can depend on the image you are starting with. In this case I'm assuming that wall and the clouds were largely gray to begin with, so you want to make your grays bluish. Use Selective Color, use the pulldown menu to get to Neutrals, add cyan and subtract yellow. |
