How to achieve vintage look? Does anyone know how to acheive those two vintage tones? I've tried using curves but couldn't get the exact results http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/e...x7vko1_500.jpg http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/e...Picture1-1.png

Re: How to achieve vintage look? Do you have one that you want to do it to??? Looks like they desaturated the image by almost 70 %. Then did a RED channel Curve move - pulling the shadow end down (or up visually on your graph) from 0 to around 40 levels of gray.

Re: How to achieve vintage look? I mean is there a specific image that you are trying to apply these effects to??? The effect is virtually the same on both images - it is just that one is more heavily shadowed than the other.
