How to fix this photo

As in the title. I have a pic that needs to be fixed. It's overexposed a little a lot But I like the composition. If anyone know how to fix it, or just add some touch, i'd be very grateful.

Re: How to fix this photo

All channels are severely clipped therefore there is no detail that you can bring back into the light areas without a lot of work - by borrowing detail from another image maybe e.g sky in window area.

Have you tried adding a curves layer and bringing the black point for RGB into just touch the start of the curve? In fact I suspect that the Auto function in curves will do an adequate job. You may then want a D&B layer to burn in as much detail as you can from the blown areas around the head.

If there are no pixels, there is nothing to retouch. The missing parts in this image need to be filled in. Created. Because there is nothing there.
So this is not a retouching problem.

Just playing around... 3 multiply layers, hue/sat, moved plant behind shoulder, fotosketcher watercolor. Under 5 mins.

Re: How to fix this photo

This is more like a restoration problem.
You could try to recover some parts & use the green channel's high frequency level to replace in the other ones.
