Re: Stanislav Petera DVD

Thanks, it's working!:-)
But this is only a contrast boosting method.(?)
And what about the color tone?

Re: Stanislav Petera DVD

Sorry, to which methods are you referring?

The color tone is achieved by replacing the RGB document's blue channel with the CMYK document's yellow channel, if that's what you're looking for.

Re: Stanislav Petera DVD

A tutorial for replacing the blue channel with the yellow channel?

1. In your RGB document stamp all visible layers using [Shift]+[Ctrl]/[Cmd]+[Alt]+[E] to create a new layer that contains everything you've done so far in one layer on top.
2. Duplicate the document using "Image"-"Duplicate" and merge the layers.
3. Convert the duplicate to "Image"-"Mode"-"CMYK Color".
4. Go back to your RGB document, activate the blue channel of the stamp and use "Image"-"Apply Image" to apply the duplicate's yellow channel to it in "Normal" mode.
5. Close the CMYK document.
6. Finetune opacity of the top stamp by taste.

Re: Stanislav Petera DVD

Many thanks, but i dont' undrestand the first step.
A have a retouched image, without layers (tiff file).

In the second step, you said, "merge the layers". When a i merged the layers, i have only one layer.

Re: Stanislav Petera DVD

Okay, if you have only one layer, duplicate your background layer and do the rest of the steps accordingly :-).
Yes, you should be left with only one layer after duplicating the document.
I don't know, if you noticed it, but you should now have two tabs open, one of which contains the unflattened RGB document, the other one containing the merged down CMYK document.

Re: Stanislav Petera DVD

Uhm... I specifically asked you if the color tone was what you were trying to achieve, that's one of the steps to getting it :-).

Maybe if you could tell me a little, what you're trying to achieve, I could help you better :-).
