Best Wacom Tablet settings for Dodge and Burn? My new Wacom tablet arrived yesterday, and I've settled down for some hardcore practice on D & B, but does anyone have some good settings to point me in the right direction? Currently trying a high opacity and low flow, but i'm having a tendency to over do it. Also really not sure about all the new brush/pen pressure settings I now have Thanks

Re: Best Wacom Tablet settings for Dodge and Burn? Hi: You can go to their web-site... Check out some videos they got there, I think they got one on how to set it up... Or check this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d53wt3RN3TM

Re: Best Wacom Tablet settings for Dodge and Burn? A piece of advice: Try to use your mouse to navigate the internet, or when the tablet is not completely necessary, so you can save pen nibs...

I use mouse for doing everything internet surfing or photoshop except dodging and burning. I use pen table for d&b only as I feel comfortable with mouse for everything else as I'm using mouse from my childhood :P |

Re: Best Wacom Tablet settings for Dodge and Burn? Here is the reason why i don't use the Wacom then, i like to use mouse, i heard many when they've got tablet they never use mouse even for surfing, so that i had difficulty to use the pen for everything, but now the posts here enlighten me to use pen tablet for just necessary retouching work. Thanks!

Re: Best Wacom Tablet settings for Dodge and Burn? Oh dear, I would be really bummed if I had to use the mouse for everything else. I love using the tablet for everything computer related. I don't know how to use a mouse anymore. I have an old Wacom Intuos 2. Hard to believe but I've been using this tool for ten years and it still works perfectly--no replaceable nibs. I've dropped it many times, hauled it across the world and back, took it daily to different offices. I'm sure the newer tablets have all kinds of fancy tools I do not have advantage of, but this one seems to serve me fine for what I'm doing. Best $250 I ever spent. I'm gonna go knock on some wood now.
