How to color correct this photo ?

This image has been giving me much headache as I have been trying to achieve normal skin tone on the photo but to no avail.

How would you do it ? Is it doable at all ?

Thanks, Ljupco

Re: How to color correct this photo ?

I use the approach P_Fuzz gave in the link. It is not too hard to do with a curves adjustment layers and the "Targeted Adjustment Tool" (the "finger") to separately adjust the RGB curves to get the Caucasian skin tone you want. It is easier than the length of the tutorial implies:

- Set eyedropper sample to an average tone point (note my sample point)
- Set info panel for sample point to view as CMYK
Using finger tool always starting from your sample point
- Adjust Blue Curve to make Yellow slightly more in value than Magenta as shown in info panel
- Adjust Red Curve to make Cyan about 1/3 of Magenta as shown in info panel

You may have to iterate a little on the adjustments. Note that this is a starting point to tune the image from here. Here is the result:

Re: How to color correct this photo ?

in the channels pallet click on the red channel to make it a selection

in the layers pallet create a new curves layer (now this will have a mask made from the red channel selection)

choose the blue channel in the curves panel, pull it down in the middle
