| Hello, First of all i would like to congrats you for this good site you have. My name is bruney, i'm Cape Verdean living in Portugal and i'm Facemaker (hobbie) of ProEvolution Soccer. We (facemakers) extract the texture of each player's bin, create a new texture in photoshop, emerge the new texture with the bin, use the blender to make the 3d and import the new bin for proevolution soccer. We do that with the players whose faces in the game did not appear with reality. We also make hair. but to be honnest i'm not good on photo retouching For you to understand better, watch these videos: Creating texture -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0iwf3aWYQ4w Modeling 3D -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5F6ov4-G_LE To have a good result i have to work hard on the texture , so i came here to ask for a help. On this photo there's shadows on the left (our left). it would be great if you retouch it so the left side can be just like the right side. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images...garcosta2.jpg/ This is some of my works: http://img507.imageshack.us/img507/6986/previewq.png http://img694.imageshack.us/img694/3730/previewlg.png http://img810.imageshack.us/img810/6675/previewrp.png http://img689.imageshack.us/img689/5007/previewut.png http://img703.imageshack.us/img703/2...1223044440.png http://img833.imageshack.us/img833/2593/previewjo.jpg http://img839.imageshack.us/img839/9598/previewok.png http://img840.imageshack.us/img840/2...0421562547.png Thank you |

| Re: Face shadow and color toning Just add a simple curves adjustment layer above the image, pull the center of the curve up to brighten or down to darken...and then invert the mask to black using command or control I for invert. Then paint on the lightness or darkness that you want with a soft white brush on the mask to make one side lighter or darker. Since its an adjustment layer... it is a non destructive process... and will not cover over the original detail...just change its tonality. You can also selectively change your images eye brightness like this as well... to match up the left and right sides. This method is fast and simple and visually powerful...if you learn it once...you can then use it over and over again for many lightening and darkening or color balancing needs. Best of luck in your project. There may be a "Marketplace" section on the forum... where you could solicit other professionals to do...or help you with... the image for just a very little cash. Most people are very busy today it seems...and sometimes dont pick up other peoples jobs for free anymore as frequently as they once did. I wasnt certain if you were asking for the method to fix the image...or if you were looking for someone to do it for you. Cheers, Ray12 |
