Removing bags/wrinkles under the eyes Can someone explain or point me in the direction of a tutorial/video that will show me the professional way to reduce and or remove wrinkles and bags under the eyes? All of the techniques I have found so far appear to be rather destructive in my way of thinking :-( I forgot to mention that I am very much a newbie to retouching so a step by step idiots guide would be appreciated Regards Colin

Re: Removing bags/wrinkles under the eyes There isn't a generic way to do this that applies in every situation. The one thing that does apply is that if you want it to look natural, you'll need to ensure that you maintain some of the original shape even after lightening the density. If you're new to this stuff the best advice I can give is not to rely on the clone/healing tools for anything larger than a few pixels. That alone would save you from one of the most common pitfalls in learning photoshop.

Re: Removing bags/wrinkles under the eyes You get the most control with Dodge and Burn techniques, as you can keep every wrinkle but can decide how much it will show.
