Question First photo retouch I do...

Hello all, I'm new in this forum & I'm starting to study photo retouching. I would love to hear what you think about this photo I did.

Hi Squirrel: Looks like you have a good sense of retouching, but as Zampano said looks like you used some blur there... The correct way of retouching is by Dodging and Burning. If you are planning to do some serious retouching, look on the line of Dodge and Burn.

Zampano, I used a high pass for skin, no blur... it was a very cold day and my friend was freezing so I overdid to even her cold goose skin... thanks for the feedback, yep I overdid.

Here's a nice one... Instead of curves you can also do the Dodge and burn in a different way...
Open a new blank layer and fill it with 50% gray, change the blend mode to soft light, using very low opacity and small pixel brush, paint with white for dodging and black for burning (to make it easier, you can switch between black and white with the X key). although a tablet is a must for these works...
