Hello, New guy, first retouch ever, need critique
First I'd like to start by saying thank you to everyone on the forum. I really appreciate this site and all who contribute.
This is my first ever retouch. I just dove right in. I am a hobbyist photographer who recently fell in love with the art of retouching. Up until very recently, I have only taken family snap shots here & there. So this is also my first attempt at a "photo shoot".
I have no clue on how I could fix all the fly aways in her hair. Also I am having trouble with her hair centered above her head. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Tips or tutorials on hair.
Please critique as well. I'd like to know what I shouldn't of done. What I might want to try. I haven't really touched the skin. I have no clue what I should do with makeup like this... Dodge & Burn?

Hi 6d5321 and welcome to the forums.
Quite an image. Here is a link to another thread that I thought had great inputs on managing retouching hair (especially the link to the vimeo video). That may answer some of your questions:
