Hi Scott

That is very interesting. Would it be possible to share a cut and paste of your Color Settings panel (that is expanded to show the More Options)? I have heard some similar advice where for Web, all work is done in sRGB and the image is left untagged for output. Not sure if that is the same as the workflow you use. If your workflow is the same as which as I have described, that can work pretty well if all images are in sRGB (whether they are tagged or not) and no conversions are done to take them out of sRGB. Where issues arise with that workflow is when images (tagged or not) are brought into Photoshop of a profile that is not sRGB. Really ugly images can happen. It will be interesting to see your settings if you are willing to share.

Outside your system, you can't. You can't ensure others are either calibrating their displays and profiling them at all, or correctly and you can't ensure they are using a color managed web browser. Saving as sRGB might get you closer, but again, no guarantees. And in the future, as the masses work with wide gamut displays that unlike non wide gamut displays, don't kind of, sort of, mimic sRGB, the worse this will get!
