| Tips how to D&B black skin Hi everyone , Never retouched black skin before . They usual way I try curves or grey 50% I get strange toning. It seems more saturated than a white skin. Anyway any tips? Have to do it in around three hours. Quick response would help a lot . Thanks Neb |

| Re: Tips how to D&B black skin If you're getting strange results because of color casts, try clipping your 50% gray layer to a Brightness/Contrast adj. layer in "Luminosity" mode or set your curves to "Luminosity" mode. Another idea would be to set the color curves either by lighting a specific area and matching the tones with the individual channels in the curves dialog or by choosing a proper brush color for your 50% gray layer. |

| Re: Tips how to D&B black skin hi Jonas. I am moving to next stage at the moment. some how I have managed to do the black skin .Nut in an hour or so should be back to give some final touch and try your suggestions. Thank you for quick response. |

| Re: Tips how to D&B black skin I know I'm a little late to the party, but for future cases: I find it quite useful to set a lighten curve (to isolate temporarily the problem area visually) on dark skin - instead of a darken curve for caucasians. |
