Need some help on the eyes

Hey, i just finished a photo but im not very happy with the white of the eyes, i think its far to white, yes its my own fault that i put al the layers together to soon, so now i cant adjust it anymore..

is it still possible to make the white less white or bright in this picture?
and how do i do it ?

here is the picture

Re: Need some help on the eyes

Hi BigJeff

Here is one way.

- Use quick selection tool on eyes
- Add Selective Color Adjustment Layer (captures selection as Layer Mask)
- Use Refine Mask and add just a tad of feather
- On Selective Color Adjustment use the White Color from drop down
- Increase Black Slider till desired eye luminosity is achieved.

Hope that helps and nice work by the way

Re: Need some help on the eyes

The problem may have less to do with brightness but rather a colour issue - there is a Cyan cast in the whites.

You could try what I did with your example. Select the whites to form a mask and then select a Hue and Sat adjustment. Reduce the Cyan saturation to 0 and see what you think.

The small size of the attachment does not show the effect too well. Wait a few seconds for the image to change
