Okay I've seen a video on how to do this edit but it was on an image that was used a few times with other color changes. I tried to get these tones like this but been having a hard time. Heres a few examples I found on Tumblr. http://www.tumblr.com/photo/1280/889...flg1Zwl1qhrzgc http://www.tumblr.com/photo/1280/109...s9aMJvS1r3jmce

Re: Skin tone edit When it comes to luminosity of the skin, it's a mixture of lighting in the original image (balance of highlights to shadows) to start with, then it's careful D&B. If you're trying to achieve specific colour I find a gradient map works very, very well.

Re: Skin tone edit For D&B (dodge & burn), it's a fairly long process, there's plenty of D&B tutorials around here and on the web, there's a few methods of doing it too, so you can choose the one you like the most. For the gradient map, you choose a highlight colour and a shadow colour, then adjustment -> gradient map. Change blending mode to colour, invert mask and paint it in where you need it.
