Glamour portrait for practice

Hello, all This is my first post on this account, but im not new here. I've lost my account password (email address for recovey also changed) - earlier known as Crater.

It been a while from my last presence here but i home you dont mind that.

Im writeing here to ask you a favour. Im in a middle of retouch process on photo from my last photo session, but i think i've stuck a bit with my retouching techniq. I wonder if you could show me a different way to take a look on those photos. In attachment i've put the crop from the photo im working on (and full photo). In the link I put the TIF crop and full NEF.

Hope some of you can show me some good way to take a look on retouch

Re: Glamour portrait for practice

1. BOTTOM LEFT CAMERA CORNER
2. Skin looks quite good, but the hair is another story.
3. It is a quite good image to work on, I might give it a try, yet I am really busy with my own work right now.

P.S. Was taking about the previous attempt.

Re: Glamour portrait for practice

Hey Agustin very nice, good work :P Maybe im a bit serious to much but this is what i think of your retouch:

+ very nice bacgroudn - cool way of thinking
+ lashes - the white (highlights?) on the eyelashes - my makeup artist named that for me one day but i forgot it. Preaty nice.
+ nicle you have done the work with those single hairs, but my private vision was to make the hairs in one line - hard to explain (look on my previe of the other image from the session in my first post)

-skin looks to blury for me (maybe it's the effect of color layer for the ink/cross-process coloryzation of the photo)
-nicley changed makeup, but something looks wrong in the eye area. The are to bright (circles around the eye) and it makes it look a bid nasty - like a dead man skull.

other: i thought you will take a crop form image, but its ok. Privatley i just don't like the model body possition on that single frame

But one more time - THANK YOU fot the affort

Re: Glamour portrait for practice

Hi again! thank you for you feedback it's very appreciate.
About the skin is because I have 2 layer adds for ink color, but any way is more my artistic vision and I understand your comment .
The eyes have more light ( I try to do a different aspect to the face) but I think you have a really very good eyes for details
About the hair, I'm not destroyed little hairs details in the head, face and arm, I think is better integration with the background, any way I understand you and I hope you can appreciate my effort.
For last as same as you, I change de Teeth.
Thank you for let my try with your work
Sorry if my english isn't enough good.
Regards

Sorry one thing more, have you notice the hairdo isn't exactly the same version as original? I am not talking about single hairs...
