| "Frequency separation" in PaintShop Pro Does anyone have a suggestion for using frequency separation with PaintShop Pro ? All of the tutorials I have found (and the threads here on Retouch Pro) use Photoshop, e.g. : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dMyaeZmkZD8 My problems arise when trying to "translate" Photoshop commands in the high-pass layer - are there a PaintShop equivalents for the "apply image," "subtract," and "linear light merge" ? | Re: "Frequency separation" in PaintShop Pro Does PaintShop Pro have an add and subtract mode? If so, you can create a 100% accurate FS. If it has something that is explained in Photoshop as "Linear Light" (C = 2*A+B-1), you can also create the split with one layer only. Apply Image is not actually needed, it just simplifies things. You might also be able to create this mode with build-in modes, but for that it'd be useful to know which blending modes are available in PSP. Maybe someone with knowledge of PSP could give you the proper answer, though I don't know many PSP users. |
