Fix false eyelash

Apart from getting a better MUA, how do I fix this problem with this false eyelash.

I have tried Liquify, Transform Warp and painting over the top with additional lashes and it all looks bad. I am not very experienced so can anyone advise me how best to approach fixing this problem?

Colin

Re: Fix false eyelash

This was a quick edit but I would use the clone tool to replace missing makeup on here eye and use the healing brush to take out the lashes I dont like and use a fake lash.. like draw your own or use lash brushes.. I think I got my brushes from deviantart.com (it was a long time ago).. hope this helps you!

Re: Fix false eyelash

I think you should be able to get an acceptable result using the warp tool and a little masking.

Highlight the eyelash area as best you can and copy to a new layer. Add a mask to this layer and paint out detail around and within the eyelash that is not required. Hide layer temp.

On a duplicate or your original remove most of the old eyelash where detached I used the clone tool.

Reveal eyelash copy and using Warp move into position that looks correct. I have left what I believe to be the lower lashes but think it would look better with them removed

A little further clean up and it should look ok

Re: Fix false eyelash

I would do it with a duplicated layer of the eye.
Stamp away some of the lashes on the lower layer to get rid of the overall form. After that, mask ( or erase the skin, whatever you'd prefer ) the lashes on the upper layer and transform them through warp or puppet warp to fit the right shape.
After merging or grouping it's just usual cleaning and you're done.

Re: Fix false eyelash

I have never used the puppet warp tool or thought about using the warp tool for this.. I might have to try that!

Re: Fix false eyelash

Selected the lashes and used liquify to bend it to follow contour of eyelids, enhanced the missing lashes.
