Need help to achieve specific color look

Hi im trying to create some more colorfull images.

So i need your help.

I'm trying to create this blue/green sky but it seems like im getting it wrong. Im would like to still keep a realistic sense - or at least like the first 3 attached pictures.

The 2 last are to work on unless you have own pictures.

Can anyone help me achieve this look... from a normal blue sky or even better from a grey sky?

Re: Need help to achieve specific color look

If you have Photoshop, a couple methods.

1. Add a blank layer.
2. Sample the blue/green sky color from the first pic.
3. Fill the blank layer with this color.
4. Change the blending mode to color.
5. Mask off the foreground.

That will work fairly well on both the blue sky and gray sky pic.

Or...

1. Add a Selective Color adjustment layer.
2. For the blue sky pic, select the blue channel in Selective Color, for the gray sky pic select the neutral channel.
3. Fool around with the sliders. On the blue sky pic, add some Yellow (a lot). Subtract some Magenta (which adds some green). Play with the Cyan (add and subtract) to taste. On the gray sky pic, add some Cyan, subtract Magenta, add Yellow.
4. Mask off foreground.

Re: Need help to achieve specific color look

How about these.... I just changed the sky only.... went into hue & saturation and sampled the color in the sky and changed the hue.... fairly simple.

The first image has a color cast. If that is what you want you need to do it over the entire image and not just the sky or the tones will not look right. Obviously...there are no green skys. The image is also lacking contrast and sharpness. First I used the Match Color filter. It did not match the color but it did give the same luminosity values. I then used my PWL actions (Paint With Light) matching the colors. I also made new layers and painted the sky color. Finally, finishing it off with a contrast/brightness adjustment layer to get a closer "dull" effect.
