How to achieve these looks?

I am curious how this photographer got the look for these three images.
I am guessing that the landscapes are HDR and just happen to be less "processed" than people tend to make the HDR images I see.

Either way, I would like to know how to get a look like this with my own images.

I realized as I was getting the images for this thread that Ian Goode did a tutorial on this site for Nick Hall (the BMW shoot). Will go check that out as soon as I hit the submit button.

looks like bleached white. IM not a pro but i read somewhere about Channel mixer adjustment layer set to monochrome and softlight.
