Hey JD,
finally, here's my try on your beautiful shot :

Before :

... and after :

I also took the liberty (hope you don't mind) to try a slightly different cropping, i just felt it more inviting and "intimate" with less empty space on the sides.

Obviously, if you need the full-res version, don't hesitate to ask.

Also, if you agree that I use it in my portfolio, tell me if I need to add any credit other than yours (i.e. model's name, make-up artist...)

What do you think of it ?

Hey Christophe,
You can use the image for whatever you like mate.
I am not sure why but the colors in your original look very muted? They should be very robust and a bit warmer.
I posted the original saved out as a jpeg here

http://jdclosser.com/CF0076712.jpg

as far as the edit goes it is hard to tell the details of the edit without seeing it at 100%. I do like what you did with removing some of the distractions in the background and the crop was a good idea.
If you can post a larger version and I would be more than happy to take a look.
Cheers,
JD

I'd really like to know. That's a bit embarassing.
Here's a screen grab comparison (for what it's worth!) of what looks like your jpeg and the original IIQ opened with the default settings in Camera Raw...

http://i1172.photobucket.com/albums/...p_CF007671.png

I also opened it in Lightroom, which gives me another different interpretation on screen (closer to yours), but once "rendered" in PsCs5, come back to this muted version...

Edit. After a few tests, i came to this :

(using the same Prophoto RGB color space)

It seems that I require an update of my CameraRaw plug-ing or a proper camera profile setting...

Re: Critiques & Advices more than welcome !

To open this file properly you have to open it with its native editor. This is a phase one camera file so to get accurate colors you have to open it in capture one pro. They have a two month free trial running right now so I highly suggest you look into that. C1 pro blows away all other raw editors IMHO.
