Spritz

Hi,

i don't usually do product retouching but have had a job land in my lap.

I have made spritzs before with shapes set to overlay and then added layer effects but only for web so easy to pass off a layer style quick 'cheat' if you will. They were all round and somewhat uniform.

However the new job I have is for billboards. I have to put on new label and spritz onto a studio shot bottle. i guess what I am asking is can I avoid doing the spritz individually as I did with the first one i have done (it was laborious and slow!). This job calls for a lot more bespoke and irregular/individual spritz.

I don't have C4d and would prefer to keep it all in CS5ps.

Re: Spritz

I've been working on something similar. Getting good looking condensation is hard. The photographer I'm working with had to fire two prop stylists before he found one that could make good looking condensation. I asked him to shoot lots of variations of the spritz which I then masked out (individual bubbles, which took awhile) and placed on the dry hero bottle. Working from real photographs made the condensation look believable.

Re: Spritz

Hey thanks,

I was of the same opinion, there really is only one way to get them right.

I might ask the photog to shot me a few spritz options so I can extract as many as possible

thanks for the reply

You also coud take a look at Alex Koloskov's website
http://www.koloskov.com/

He also has some great tutorials on how to get a certain shot or look/effect, or just send him an email as his answers are quick..
