Nice work Shift Studio, I can certainly buy that as brushed SS. If texture is needed then this looks a very good way to go, however...
There are a few questions that I think only the OP or the client could answer accurately.
1. Quality of the SS finish. There can be huge variances from showing absolutely no texture i.e. mirror finish, to being very coarse in texture. Where do these appliances finishes fall?
2. Texture is not always evident in some SS due to the fine nature of the finish and can only be seen when up very close i.e. a matter of a couple of feet away. Can you actually see the texture when more than a few feet away?
3. At the distance of these shots and assuming a relatively fine texture SS the ability of the lens to be able to resolve such very fine detail is questionable. How good are your optics?
4. The largest image size as posted is 5148x3360 pixels which when printed at 300 ppi would provide a print of 17.16"x11.2". So what is the final output size going to be and for what purpose?
