| Re: How to obtain this post process Sorry. I mean, the skin tones, something yellow and orange, warm tones in certain specific areas of the photos, for example as in the first image. The second pic got like a purple layer and the skin some orange. How obtain that skin tone? Is like he's using a palette of color to paint the picture in different areas. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8019/7...81dd14ef_o.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8024/7...7e94272a_o.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7075/7...79c4bd85_o.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7223/7...b46f1cb7_o.jpg People, sorry about my english, is so bad. | Re: How to obtain this post process Just addressing the colors, many of his shots have blue shadows and yellow highlights. Most noticable on a man's black coat next to a woman's white dress. That is becoming a popular theme. For a simple approach, use a Curves adjustment layer. Go to the blue channel, grab the center point and drag it to the right. Then go to the Red channel and drag its center point to the left. Usually leave the green channel alone, but maybe drag to the right like blue, but less than half the amount of blue. In the first sample you linked, use a Curves adjustment to return that image to normal white balance by clicking the gray eyedropper somewhere on the man's coat. Look at the curves that result. Then click the grey eyedropper on the white dress, somewhere in the darkest tones near the bottom. Look again at the curves this produces. Red moves to the right, blue and green to the left. To make some other image with correct white balance look like the sample, add a curves adjustment and simply reverse these curves. Red to the left, blue and green to the right. |

| Re: How to obtain this post process Redcrown, thank you very much. I tried and got an approximation. What do you thing about the colors in some places of the pictures? like layers with solid colors (light blue, orange, violet, etc), blending mode in soft light, x% opacity, inverted mask painted in certain places with soft brush. |

| Re: How to obtain this post process That's good tip with curves reverse. And it's good exercise to try to mimic a certain look. But, to answer your question - This guy is probably using one of tones of actions for wedding and portrait photographers (Kubota, TRA etc), this look is all around the industry. Wedding photographers produce hundreds of pictures a day, there is no time for anything except actions. But, it's, at least, fun to try to produce the look, and maybe, make your own actions one day, who knows. |

| Re: How to obtain this post process Thank you Pics2, I'll be trying to create my own actions in the next days. I started as a photographer, but the truth is that, "retouch" is wonderful. I'll start a thread on how to become a retoucher from photographer. |
