Re: golden skin look

Hi!

(warning: english isn't my native language. If someone can't understand me, I try to say other way)

About the thread: open your image and follow these steps:

STEP 1 - Create a new layer "Control+Shift+N". Select mode: overlay [soft light works too] and click in "fill with overlay [or soft light]-neutral color (50% gray)".

STEP 2 - use the brush tool (B) as large as the light (or shadow) you want. Change brush opacity 5%. Just use black and white. Black for shadows and white for light. Just paint this 50% gray overlay layer in the area you want to light or shadow. In a few touches, you get the desired result.

The idea here is to strengthen the shadows and lights that the image already has. Painting with white in bright areas, and paint it black in dark areas.

I hope I have helped.

Re: golden skin look

I believe he's asking about the color or skin tone if I'm not mistaken.

Wolfman, I guess you can be right. I don't understand well what he wants. He says "how do i get this look in photoshop".
If he explains better what he wants, we can help him better.

Re: golden skin look

Make sure your model has a good tan. Then follow the advice above.

You could try creating a dupe of the skin and set it to overlay, then add gaussian blur. (think glamour glow:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=64-23...feature=relmfu) Adjust to taste and then dodge and burn to fine tune.
edit: of course a color overlay filter may also be required.

Re: golden skin look

Curves adjustment layer, targetting individual channels. You can then get your skin to look whatever colour you want. Simple.
