How to get this vintage look ?

I really love the tones on thoses pictures, any idea how to achieve this in Camera RAW / Photoshop ?

those thumbs are too small to be useful

but for the second one...
try to increase contrast and desaturate all but blues/cyans and some orange

Actually a pretty cool way to find out how a picture´s curves are changed, just take the picture and try to "color correct" it with curves, until you have the impression that you corrected the picture like it would almost have come out the camera, color-wise.
Then you can invert the curves you just created and have the look you need.

Sounds odd... But I tried it several times and had pretty good results with it...
Plus, you somehow get into the whole thing and gather experience in curves and colors...

You can always try Match Color. You need to work in RGB and have both your image and the one you want to match open. Select target and source alter settings to suit.

how do you invert the curves, I cant get the normal invert to work?

If you want this to be easy and fun with tons of options, you want a third-party plug-in such as Retrographer. I used a few of its presets on my early-'90s photo of the Samuel Pickman House in Salem MA and used blending modes on the resulting duplicate layers. You can create endless variations in minutes.

I had some fun here on the forum with a contemporary photo treated with Retrographer, and it was quite convincing (though my backstory wasn't... ;-) ).
