Rocco Ancora style retouch - how?
New here, but I've been into photography for some years now and am experimenting with drammatic post processing looks for wedding photography. I especially like Rocco Ancora and his style of retouching.
This picture has a ot of drama, yet I can't quite break down what went into it.
Cheers from Italy.
Re: Rocco Ancora style retouch - how?
Bad post processing with tons of halos evident in his images. You can do much better than that. Basically, you want to bring up micro-contrast. To achieve that, you can use either inverted high-pass technique or Calvin Hollywood's Freaking Amazing Details technique first. To further enhance contrast, you can use either Shadows/Highlights or luminosity masks. Finally, bring down some color saturation and add a brownish tint to the image using Hue/Sat. I guess that style works great with darker images.
