Re: How can i get that Skins tones,

Most practicing use normal jpg with poor quality. Download real good raw files and learn with the good quality resources. If you don't have money get free raw files

Re: How can i get that Skins tones,

ahuds75, I think this is close. I made a duplicate layer and changed blend mode to luminosity. Then I applied the High Contrast Red Filter using the Black & White adjustment and then played with the sliders until I felt I was close.

Edit, BTW the save for web command is altering the image, color and luminosity, it looks much closer before I save it.

Re: How can i get that Skins tones,

The original was no where near the target. Lots of tweaks and local moves. Close, but no substitute for lighting the subject right.

Re: How can i get that Skins tones,

I'm posting it without trying so i'm not sure what the results may be, but in my opinion the base image has quite a bit of contrast - similar to the image duplicated and set in overlay mode. The darks are quite high and highlights are well exposed without burning them. So the suggestion is. Use hard light. Expose it correctly or just a bit above the suggested ev. Curve it to your liking (S curve of choice), highpass it a bit and add some noise. I'll try posting something similar in a few hours and will see if it corresponds to what you were looking for.
