How do I get this colour look to my images

Hi,

Does anyone know how I can create a similar colour look to my images to this photographer?

I'm very new to post-production of my photography.

Appreciate any help!

I'm not sure what you're asking. If I saw a photo of yours, and said what you wanted changed. I may have some idea of what you mean

I'm still not sure what you're trying to accomplish. I think your photo looks good as is. Do do want to brighten up the background?

Hi Rob - I really like how the greens look in their photos and it seems to have an almost washed out look to the colours? How would I be able to do that?

Cheers

PK, I'm totally guessing here. What I think you are shooting for is sort of the pastel look with no hot spots in the colors. I'd try creating a dup layer switch blend mode to saturation and apply a healthy Gaussian blur. Merge the layers and use vibrance to raise vibrance to 100 and drop color all the way down, now bring the color slider back up to suite your taste. Anyway, that's what I did here and I think it might be at least similar to what you want.

Thanks - would you mind stepping out those steps more slowly so I can try it myself.

Cheers

I think crazyfly1 answered your question. I should always follow my instincts. I originally thought it was the green thing you were going for, but I shoved it to the back of my mind.

Only thing not shown is the blur layer has the blend mode set to Saturation. If you need any help let me know.
