Cropping in for known print size

What's the best way, in lightroom or photoshop 6, to crop a photo for a known print size even if it means there is some enlargement that needs to be done?

Most of what I found deals with dimensions but not the fact that the photo may have to be enlarged a bit to fit the print size.

Any pitfalls I'm totally missing?

Re: Cropping in for known print size

In CS6 select the crop tool. Click on the leftmost drop down box next to the crop tool icon and select Size and resolution.
Enter your print size for Width and Height and then select your resolution. This will adjust your crop ratio and resolution to fit your desired final size. If this is a standard size and res. for you save as a preset
