can this be fixed

Is there any way to isolate face and body that is in shadow and make it look like the sunshine part?

Have you tried using a curve adjustment layer with masking limited to shadow areas?

The posted image a little pixelated but gentle tweaks to individual RGB channels and overall contrast adjustment should work

OR... use the History brush set @ Screen and fade if necessary .. OR... darken the background to match the shadows by using a few masked multiply layers then adjusting the yellows and red with a hue/Saturation adjustment layer
