What do you think?

Messed up my lighting a tad so had to spend a bit of time in PS sorting things out a bit. What do you think?

well done pchweiss! mended that but having a hard time trying to space it out equally so it will have to stay as it is.

Re: What do you think?

I think you did a very good job. Only thing I'm uncomfortable with is the beams of light emanating from the small spots in the ceiling. Lights powerful enough to create visible beams (and then they'd only do it if there was a significant amount of dust/smoke in the air) would add a rimlight to the bride. I found myself looking for that edge of light outlining her. I'd lose these beams or take them back more (I assume they're on their own layer(s)).

Re: What do you think?

Hi franko60, those two light beams were one of the reason why I posted the image. Wanted to see how 'comfortable' people are with them. I know what you mean about the dust or smoke being a good component here to substantiate those but then again I saw retouched images on sites like 500px were the lack of smoke, dust or mist did not matter and the retoucher still added them (I agree about the rim light though). As I say, just want to test the water and if anything that layer will get chucked out

Re: What do you think?

Ok, I have pulled back the opacity a tad on the beams ( sort of really like them) and dodged the rim light on her side and the rail.

Re: What do you think?

I think you're doing a very nice job, but...

I get that you flopped the right side to the left for symmetry (and to reduce retouching time) but the reversed direction and dis-symmetry of the ironwork to the camera left the bride bothers me. I think you'd be better off working with the original ironwork from about the left lamp to the bride. It's too illogical for the two sides to meet left of center like that.

Otherwise, very nice.

Re: What do you think?

I reckon you're about there with a believable image. I'm sure the bride will love it.
