How to reproduce this texture?

Hi everyone,

I've been asked to retouch some rings that must have a brushed texture like in attachment.

The only thing that comes to my mind is drawing it, but it will take too much time.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Re: How to reproduce this texture?

With a bit of experimentation you may get an acceptable result using add noise, motion blur etc

Attachment (animated) may help with workflow but you will have to play with the settings to get right with your original image sizes.

Re: How to reproduce this texture?

New Layer, add noise, motion blur, linear light blend mode, mask, warp to fit.

Here's a quickie without the warp. If you need it to show up stronger dupe the layer. If too strong cut back opacity or use a softer blend mode.
