Re: another how to get this skintone

@skoobey: Looking at your psd file, I feel at home, it looked very familiar to me! I like your workflow, easy to follow. Good job.

Since we are at it, can you help with this one: http://www.retouchpro.com/forums/pho...n-retouch.html

I have mastered a lot of PS techniques, this one eludes me! any help will be appreciated.

Speaking of gigs, I gave up long ago! you can't compete with those people overseas charging 5 bucks to edit a photograph

Those who charge 5 bucks, don't do the same thing. It's blur blur blur.

Prices are as goes:

Rough cut out-little to none attention to the hair, 5$.

Detailed path out 15$.

Skin blurring 5$.

And they don't even deal with RAWs... so...

BTW I answered there.

That's not my pricing, but what I googled cheap Indian retouching to be. And people who are actually doing the work get almost none of that money.

Re: another how to get this skintone

Again, I need to do a tutorial.

Calvin Hollywood technique.

Make a stamp on top of all active layers (Alt ctrl shift E).
Invert (ctrl I)
Set opacity to 50 percent
blur with surface blur to a radius that's maximum you want sharpen, it will sharpen every radius up to that one, threshold will control the strength of the effect
new layer
make a stamp of all active layers (alt ctrl shift E)
set layer to Overlay, or Soft light, or Hard light
delete the first stamp

And there you go.

Calvin Hollywood there is his way to do it, and he did it using the smart object, very smart if you can't decide on the radius.
