first of all, i think you need very expensive lens, starting from f1.4 to f1.2 to get that kind of look.

it`s not an excuse, i`m just saying you can`t get that kind of DOF from post processing. of course you can simulate it, but it will never look like this.

1. So what? Even if true, she'd still be able to do her post processing style on something with a higher aperture. And her post processing is what the thread was presumably about.

2. It's not true:

What is your go to lens & Why?

135 mm f2. It is the perfect working distance for me.

3. It's not like her stuff is straight out of camera:

Re: How to edit like Meg Bitton?!

"How the heck does Meg do what she does? I want that soft hazy, yet creamy and sharp look. How does she edit? Anyone?"

^This was the first question, i think i made myself preety clear on the post above. Are you trying to say that 135mm f2 is a cheap lens ?

Who cares about price, that's a distraction. The title of the thread, and "how does she edit?" speaks to her retouching style.

The price of her lens is not her retouching technique, unless you believe her "afters" are straight out of camera.
