To OP. There is only one answer for all your posts. Learn how to read histogram. And of course output 200% depends on input.
Yeah. I have responded to several of them, and I don't really go so much by histograms given that the composition of one image may differ enough from another. It results in quite a few edge cases where a naive approach to histogram matching can fail.

When it comes to recreating a style, I think it requires some intuition rather than a fixed set of steps. I've tried to describe that in the simplest possible terms without losing generality to the point where it only works on one image or another. I think the guy should start with something easier, as he will learn more from eventually succeeding at something easier than by failing repeatedly due to lack of intuition.

Here's an idea of how I would get started. Ignore the extreme sloppiness of the masking. I should point out that I would mask the individual wheel spokes under normal circumstances. More specifically I would make masks for paint, wheels, overall car, possibly ground shadow, and any critical environmental details. If you can't come to terms with the reasoning, you still will not understand any of this after another year (or 10).

Anyway here's a link with layers. I'll leave it up for a bit. It's just to show a general approach. If you can't see where I'm going with this, then pick something closer to your level. Otherwise you'll never start to make progress.

It's important to realize that if something doesn't match between your image and that image, you can often adjust it to match. This includes the color of the sky, bright highlights in the background, and whatever else. You won't find a how to on this though, because it's iterative. That guy probably figured out what approach worked well for him over time.

Youtube isn't always a great source of information. It mostly contains walkthroughs of straightforward images without offering sufficient detail to comprehend the general case.

You present a set of images that demonstrate the end result of a specific person's judgement and technique applied to a number of images. You are trying to determine a more general technique to reproduce the same impact. It has to be general enough to apply not only to his work but to anything you personally shoot. It also has to be presented in a way that makes sense to you, because it's not possible to give evaluation after each step as to whether you're going the right way with it.

See how that's a big request?

I kind of like the color of the black bmw. Did you look at the layered image I uploaded for you? It was supposed to demonstrate what I mentioned. You emphasize and de-emphasize parts. You adjust details as you go.

Can you see why that's a complicated request?
