this skin tone?

Hi,

I love this skin tone (the left one), so I randomly use an image(the right one) and try to emulate (highlight/shadow,color,saturation). As result, you can see it's still quite different from the target.
Of course I should have done a pore level retouching, but talking about tone, could anybody please give me some advice? What's different? For example, although I've emulated color and saturation, my version still shows redish between highlight area and shadow area, and I don't know why.

BTW, what you may call this target skin tone? pinkish coffee? or golden coffee?

If you mean how to achieve a monochromatic look I'd suggest hue/sat adjustment and have "reds" with -7 saturation and +7 hue and "yellows" with -7 saturation and -7 hue and fine tune with a curve adjustment.

Nice, I like it. Thanks for sharing.

OP: There is also a considerable amount of Micro D&B, have fun! There seems to be also some sort of grain or noise added to the skin. The first step in recreating a "look" is to get the luminosity right, then, move on to tones, then overall color correction, then, you are ready for the detail work.
