Photoshop CS Shadow/Highlight Command

Part 4 of the tutorial series, "Developing Photos That Pop" was added to my site today. It explains how to get the most from the Photoshop CS Shadow/Highlight command.

Feel free to download the earlier tutorials in the series, too!

Part 1: Understanding Tonal Range, Contrast, and Brightness

Part 2: Using ACR II to Adjust Tonal Range, Contrast, and Brightness

Part 3: Using Levels and Curves to Adjust Tonal Range, Contrast, and Brightness

If you prefer HTML versions, Uwe Steinmueller has HTML versions for the first three tutorials in the series.

Hi Mitch,

thank you for your constant supply of very useful tips and alternative ways to get the desired results with Photoshop!!!

I've downloaded all 4 parts of this tutorial, will start reading and, hopefully, learning from it .... It really seems very interesting!

What I also use from your tips/tutorials, quite regularly, is the 'Masking by the numbers technique' .... I find it simply great!

Thanks for sharing...

P.S. I'm moving your threads to the Tips Forum .... I think many go there first (I know I did!) when looking for help or simply inspiration...
