Retouching in fashion style how to?

Alot of tuturials show you how to retouch portrits so they look a little better, but still normal. or they show you how to make it look glamoures with often too soften skin tones and that kind ot things.

But how do you retouch in a fashion kinda way?
if you see a fashion photo your often aware of it at the first glare because of the special colors/mood they create. Alot of the photo impact ofcause come from the styling, the crop and the models expression. But they also tend to have made alot of postprocesing. I have a hard time descriping commen feutures and similarityes in the pictures but almost all of the pictures shows a very hihgh control of the colors.
If any of you can help me find the things to focus on trying to get in to that kind of retouching would be greatly apreciatet.

Its pictures like these:

If you whant an idea of who i am take a look at my introducing in the saloon

Thanks, Lasse

Hi Lasse, try reading Katrin Eismann's book Restoration & Retouching. It has whole chapters devoted to Portrait work and Glamour and Fashion Retouching, and will give you a good grounding in the techniques you will need. It is also a source of information for much other retouch work, and is much recommended by many members here at RetouchPRO.
