Re: Show Your Stuff!

Okay, I'm game. Here are a couple of my shots.
The iris is in studio with lighting and a black background. Experimenting with multiple light sources and backlighting through flower petals. A little burn and saturation in PSP.
Camera: Sony Mavica (still a great little Point and Shoot.)

The hood ornament was "in the wild" at a car show. Backlit with natural sunlight through construction flashers. Not sure what the red streak was. Cleaned up some water spots and tweaked the colors.
Camera: Canon Rebel XT

BTW: Kraellin, care to do a critique of PSP-XI?

Unposed shots are a real interest of mine. Have to be careful about how they are used if you can't get releases. Hence the shot from the back. Doing "paintings" with "people" photos can work sometimes also.

Someone once pointed out to me that National Geographic emphasizes the shooting of images of people. And most of the photos they use are of, or contain, people.

I appreciate your nice comments.
