| Taking Large Format Pictures... Happy New Year All! I have a question. I shoot w/the Nikon D80 and wanted to know is there a special way of setting my camera to shoot large format pictures, for example; 13x19? What do I need to keep in mind when shooting as far as head room, etc, and when I place the picture in Photoshop, is there a special setting for working with large format pictures? Many Thanks! |

| Re: Taking Large Format Pictures... The aspect ratio is still approx 1:1.5 so what you shoot = what you get = what you print. I recommend you shoot the image in RAW format and archive the original NEF file in case. When you bring it in to Photoshop you will probably need to adjust the image size to 13 x 19 but otherwise all the editing is the same as you would do for any size file. Regards, Murray |
