February Photo Assignment - Nature at Work

It's such a nice day here, finally, after quite a cold and icy winter. Took my little Sony 7.2 megapixel out for a walk around the backyard searching for "nature at work". I found a few little buds (they're tired of winter too) peeking up through a pile of dead leaves.

Just normal exposure on the Sony and I did adjust the hue and sat in Photoshop CS2, just posting here to share, that's all.

I'm opening up a "Voting Thread" -- even though it's not a "contest", we can operate it like TPaul's Contests to some degree. (Which means I should have set the cutoff time earlier in the month so we could have the voting done already and the winner could have set up the new assignment for March already... but I didn't do that.)

Sorry, CJ. I really had intended to participate in this - but with the crazy weather and family being sick and.... well, it just didn't happen, and now it is too dark outside... Hmmm - wonder if I can find the hole through which our mouse has been getting in and out, and snap a shot of it. hehehe

I WILL be here next month, though! I am so excited that you started doing these, and that the photography section was started here!!
