Inspiration -- Links to photo galleries

"Let's just go walking in the rain" -- by Marisa in Switzerland

I would love to go out on a rainy evening and capture lovely images like these, but I keep finding excuses not too... I plan to change that.

Or we can stay inside, set up some lighting and use very simple elements to make intriguing, creative images...like Joe Lasker has done here --

Re: Inspiration -- Links to photo galleries

Sorry, Cass -- I said "I'd LOVE to go out..." and capture images like that -- those are definitely NOT MINE!

I'm a wimp and don't like to be out in the rain until it's warm, and then I don't think about it -- but I'm going to try to keep Marisa's beautiful images (the lady who created them; she lives in Switzerland and has other wonderful galleries on PBase also) in mind to inspire myself to get out of the house and go make photos.

I went to a parade today to do some shooting, and I'm hoping that I got something nice. It was sunny and chilly, but I "braved" the elements.

Have you ever taken your camera out after a rain -- city streets or meadows?

The movies were going to offer smell-o-vision years ago (maybe they did and I missed it) -- a fresh rainy night smell is definitely one I'd love to be able to recreate!
