See if this helps - How to size images for your post When you start writing your post look for "manage attachments" down below the posting window in "Additional options" - click on that and browse to your hard drive for your less than 100k version of your image and upload.

That is a really nice image! Beautiful depth and color.

I never post any images here because it just seems such a hassle sizing. I post most stuff to Flickr by simply draging the image to a droplet. Flickr resizes as it loads, but they are still much too big for this site.

Re: Photographed TODAY (or Processed today)

Skauskas,

you shot a great seascape.
I took the liberty of applying some tone mapping to it.

I hope you don't mind.

Best regards,
Great results, esp. considering 1/4 second exposure, handheld.

A few nights ago I got an idea about shooting a lot of colorful neon lights. I stacked the images as individual layers in Photoshop against a black background and the Difference and Lighten blend modes.

Photographed last night, actually, but it was bedtime. Didn't know what this handsome baby was until I downloaded the shot. Fortunately it was really a tiny thing.

Re: Photographed TODAY (or Processed today)

To be honest, if I'd known what it was beforehand I wouldn't have been out there with it - maybe. Did I mention it was tiny?

Re: Photographed TODAY (or Processed today)

I didnt get round to processing this one till today ( took a few days ago )

it has turned out better than deserved as the light was rubbish, getting a good position was nearly impossible and the little devil was a fast mover ! ! ! ! !

shame was he has more colour in the photo, what attracted my eye to him in the first place was that he looked as if he had black and white stripes all over even his legs

still dont like spiders though

Isn't it fascinating how being "in photographer mode" makes us interested in getting closer to things that we would normally avoid! I've also tried taking images of little crawly things that I might have squished if I didn't have the camera out. Good practice, Palms - I understand about trying to get in a good position and how fast they can move when they see "a big eye chasing them".
