| Re: Photographed TODAY (or Processed today) One of Yoda today, have been off the radar for a while due to realising my monitor colours totally suck! Now using a friends calibrated sony crt, the difference in colour is astounding. Dxm, that shot is superb, i love the saturation and the surrounding colours give a metallic feel to the subject. | Am totally exhausted after running around the garden trying to get an action shot of Girly Girl, she is another rescue dog. This time 3 weeks ago she was in a word, emaciated and hardly had the strength to stand up, now she has bags of energy, far more than i have ![]() My sister still hasn't figured on a name for her so i gotta call her something. Taken with a D3 in the split second she was still.. ISO 1250 1/640 @ 5.3 FL: 230mm 70-300 VR |

| Re: Photographed TODAY (or Processed today) taken with my Canon 300D Infrared modified by Mr. Harlim, this is a Version 3, using 18-55mm kit lens + CPL filter + built-in flash. post processing for saturation, because Version 3 is actualy made for the best in Black & White Infrared Photography. A little bit of Topaz Lab Adjust for enhancing the details. Looks like infrared modified will automatically cleaning & smoothing the skin...without post processing. | Re: Photographed TODAY (or Processed today) .. When I moved my ladder a nest fell to the ground dumping some newly hatched birds (maybe day old) onto the grass.... said OOPS! and scooped them back into the nest and relocated it onto a nearby fence post, hoping their mom or dad would find them... they did.. and started setting up housekeeping.. these shots are about a week later Date 2009-05-18 noon sun Canon PowerShot S1 IS 1/500 sec F/4.5 Focal Length 58 mm Last edited by 0lBaldy; 05-18-2009 at 02:24 PM. | Re: Photographed TODAY (or Processed today) Nice shots Olbaldy, i'm still trying to capture a pair of swifts who have nested under the eaves with a 70-300mm, somehow the lens just isn't long enough! It was not my lucky day today after stalking this butterfly, set up the shot for a perfect exposure and just as i pushed the button, darn thing decided it had had enough and flew away, and @ 1/125 there was too much lens blurr...oh well c'est la vie, Gary... |

| Re: Photographed TODAY (or Processed today) It seems like "that time of year..." with all the beautiful flowers and bird pix. Some of you do work that I can only aspire to. You offer a challenge to excellence...and I know that sounds hokey, but it's the truth. I joined up here 4 years ago and have only felt comfortable to share my work around you in the past month. With that said, Shot from my deck 2 days ago, and included the distance with a shot of the setup. I love these little bluebirds...and they are really, really loco, crazy... 1/160s at f/4 - iso 100 58.4mm focal length Panasonic FZ18 |
