| | | Re: Photographed TODAY (or Processed today) I really like the one in the middle.. a like the play of lines in the photos.. the bride and tree are some kind of vertical lines and the path is rounded. But the only thing I wouldn't put the bride too in the middle (in all photos) |

| | | Re: Photographed TODAY (or Processed today) Thank you thank you,
I have since cropped these a little after reading more in the photography forum thread about composition--I didn't see this section before because it was so far down the list. I thought this site was exclusive to retouch restoration and photo art. I'll have to spend more time in this section to improve my snapshots. |

I'll have to spend more time in this section to improve my snapshots. | All of us came here because of interest in retouching or restoring photos, but then some folks started learning to do artistic techniques with their photos, and the site changed to add room for that. Then some of us just wanted to look at our original photos and talk about photography. Doug, the site owner, is also interested in photography and decided to add this forum to allow space for some "non-retouched" photos - although some post-processing is usually done to all photos here. Since some pro photographers do their own retouching, or are interested in keeping up with info on retouching, there are some pro photographers that visit this forum, but most of us are photo "enthusiasts" -- used to be called "camera bugs".
We try to offer a place to enjoy showing our photos, getting critiqued if you want, learning some new techniques if you want, showing off and competing with others if you want -- whatever. When you get tired of retouching a particular photo, you can come and roam around the Photography Forum and relax -- no work involved unless you want it. |

| | | Re: Photographed TODAY (or Processed today) Cool, Gee! How did you handle the lighting?
By the way, could you post a small version here as well as your link to your flickr site - your link may change as you add / change items but a small uploaded version here will be here for years. |
