Re: Photographed TODAY (or Processed today)

Southbay. Thanks for the amazing link. Yes, indeed that's the kind of thing I'm interested in.

Go here to learn how we manage to cram so much in such a small file:

It took me several tries before I really understood it but was well worth the effort.

Re: Photographed TODAY (or Processed today)

Just arrived back from the Algarve once again, very long and lonely drive this time around, only managed a few pics, this being Gale coast close to Albufeira in central Algarve. While down there i looked at a few places for setting up a studio, one of which looks very promising so will investigate more when i go back next week.
regards,
Gary..

Our gardens first red tomato. HDR and focal point. Using my 2MP Toshiba PDR-M500. This second one started as a photo heavy rain in the woods. I was working with coloring grayscales and imposing images. Liked how this one ended up.

Re: Photographed TODAY (or Processed today)

Trying new CS3 settings to coral the file size. Good tip about "optimize to file size".

This from a week ago in northern Ontario. He stays on the lookout at the point, while she slips in and out of the shadows.

Here also is the link to the Edwin McCain's arrangement of it. The writer is anonymous but written on a wall in a military hospital in the Philipines during World War II.
http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/e/e..._st_peter.html
Let them in Peter For they are very tired
Give them couches where the angels sleep And light those fires
Let them wake whole again To brand new dawns
Fired by the sun Not war-times bloody guns
May their peace be deep Remember where the broken bodies lie
God knows how young they were To have to die
Give them things they like Let them make some noise
Give dance hall bands not golden harps To these our boys
Let them love Peter For they've had no time
They should have bird songs and trees And hills to climb
The taste of summer And a ripened pear
And girls as sweet as meadow wind And flowing hair
And tell them how they are missed But say not to fear
It's gonna be all right With us down here

messing around with some ACR settings I found on Flickr. I think they yielded some nice high key effects. Taken with my Lumix DMC-FX35. PP paint engine ACR (Photoshop)
