how to make that graduated background..

Hi . I know that gill greenbergs images has been discused over and ove again but id like to find out how she get that colored graduated pool of background light. Either she is using a different colored background with hard white pool of light or she is using a white background with a geled background reflector that is throwing a pool of light with fall of but im uncertain. Any surgestions? thanks anna

Hi, Anna!

Looks like you could mask out or extract the subject and ad a background layer with a radial blur.
