The subject for this month's competition has been chosen by ONE of the 1st Place WINNERS of our September competition -- Gary Richardson.
Members ejk and Gary Richardson shared the winning number of votes and won 1st Place in the September competition.
Gary was the first to contact me, so he gets to go first with his choice of theme for the next competition.

Deadline for submitting your image: Saturday October 27th, 2007 at 12 pm EDT.
The goal of these friendly competitions is to inspire members to grab our camera and actually use it.
New photos are our goal,
but we will accept recently photographed/recently processed images that fit the topic also.
We'd love to hear any shooting info you have (shutter speed, ISO, f-stop)
this isn't the place for Photoshop art filters [we have other forums for that.]
Feel free to add info about what/where you shot, and why you chose your subject/composition, etc. when you post your image in this thread.
What does the winner get? The winner gets to choose the next assignment (this time PLUS gets all the nice accolades that come from being chosen "Winner".
Post your photo submissions in this thread, and we'll have the separate thread for discussion of this assignment and your comments regarding any of the entries that strike your fancy. I find myself NOT commenting on anyone's photo because it's a competition -- like I don't want to give hints on "who I'm going to vote for". That's not fair to entrants, and I'm going to try to cure myself of that this month.
Again, we'll let all RetouchPro members take part in the voting, whether they have submitted an entry or not. We'll also let all entrants vote, if they remember... Hint, hint...
*Note*
Sorry to be a tad late posting this new thread, but my lovely internet/TV/phone communication company (Cox) decided to do an "upgrade" of the system in my area and took all my services offline for 6 hours last nite. (No phone service? No way to call help in case of an emergency?! No prior notice? Even WITH prior service, what do they mean cutting off my phone!!?
