| Re: The Chinese Theater I live so close (Arizona) and I still haven't ever visited the Caverns! Thanks for reminding me of one more thing I need to do! From the National Park site: :"The limestone rock that holds Carlsbad Cavern is full of ocean fossil plants and animals from a time before the dinosaurs when the southeastern corner of New Mexico was a coastline similar to the Florida Keys." WoW!!! |

| Re: The Chinese Theater Good shot, Rab. I can just feel the two formations on the right trying to reach each other and marry up. I visited Carlsbad years (and I do me YEARS) ago. Other than the smell of bat guano, it was a memorable experience. |
