| Hello! When say hairstylist get a photo shoot by a photographer, do they need their permission to post the images on a website, or would it just be OK to give credit to the photographer? |

| Re: Photography legal question Yes, the stylist and the hair&makeup and the retoucher and all others need the permission of the photographer to publish the photographs. Be shure the model gave his/her permission also. The same for retouchers - especially showing before/afters. In case it was a job, you have to get the permission of the client. In most cases you also have to wait until the work is published. Otherwise you really could get yourself into trouble. |
